**Severe storms and flooding are creating hazardous travel in several states:**

• **Southeast Nebraska/Southwest Iowa:** Severe storms with **60 mph winds and quarter-size hail** are crossing areas near **I-29 (mile markers 7–24)** and **I-80 in Nebraska (mile markers 418–420)** through 3:15 PM CDT. Additional storms affect the Sterling, Beatrice, Tecumseh, and Nebraska City areas. Flooding is already reported around **Lincoln**, with 1–2 inches fallen and another 1–2 inches possible through 6:45 PM CDT. Avoid flooded streets and watch for downed trees.

• **New Mexico:** Life-threatening flash flooding is possible or ongoing on **Highway 60, mile markers 71–79, near Datil** until 4 PM MDT. Flash flooding and debris-flow risks also affect the **Ruidoso/Ruidoso Downs** area and the South Fork burn scar through 4:30 PM MDT. Roads, bridges, culverts, and driveways may wash out—turn around, don’t drown.

• **Florida Panhandle:** Southern Okaloosa County—including **Fort Walton Beach, Destin, Niceville, and Eglin AFB**—faces flash flooding through 4:45 PM CDT after 1–3 inches of rain, with another 1–3 inches possible. A severe storm may produce **60 mph winds** through 3:30 PM CDT. Water is also over some roads near **Port St. Joe and Mexico Beach**.

• **Mississippi:** Severe storms near **Lucedale** and around **Starkville, Sturgis, and Longview** may bring **60 mph winds and quarter-size hail** through 3:45 PM CDT. Slow down, avoid tree-lined roads, and do not stop beneath trees or power lines.

• **Kansas/Missouri:** Severe thunderstorm watches remain in effect until **8 PM CDT** for northeast Kansas and much of northwest/north-central Missouri, including areas near **St. Joseph, Maryville, Cameron, Bethany, and Hiawatha**. Be ready for rapidly developing dangerous winds and hail.

• **Colorado:** Flash flooding and debris flows remain possible near the **Aspen Acres burn scar** in the Wet Mountains/Pueblo County area through **8 PM MDT**.

• **Ohio/Indiana:** Heavy rain may flood low-lying roads through this evening in parts of central and west-central Ohio, including **Marysville, Bellefontaine, Coldwater, and Fort Recovery**, and central Madison County, Indiana, near **Alexandria and Frankton**.
