Hammer Down Road Report

๐Ÿš— **Nationwide Road-Weather Update**

**Ohio:** Dangerous flooding is affecting much of central and eastern Ohio. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected near New Lexington, McConnelsville, Shawnee, Crooksville and Junction City through **1:45 PM EDT**. Elsewhere, 2โ€“5 inches of rain has caused widespread roadway flooding and numerous road closures around Zanesville, Cambridge, Barnesville, Freeport and Bethesda through this afternoon. Flooding is also reported near **SR-158/SR-204**, while river flooding may leave water several feet deep on roads near Hebron, including areas between Route 40 and **I-70**. Avoid low-water crossings, underpasses and all barricaded roads.

**Illinois:** Minor river flooding continues along the Illinois River near Beardstown and Havana, affecting central-western Illinois, with crests near 16โ€“17 feet expected today into Friday. The Sangamon River at Monticello remains above flood stage through late Saturday night. Do not drive around barricades or through flooded areas.

**Indiana:** Minor flooding along the Wabash River near Linn Grove and Bluffton is impacting Wells and Adams counties. County-road flooding is possible near Linn Grove; the warning continues through Sunday morning.

**Arizona:** In central Pima County, elevated flow on Vamori Wash may flood low-lying areas and affect the **Route 21 bridge at Santa Cruz** through **1:30 PM MST**. Use extra caution near washes and never drive into moving water.

Turn around, donโ€™t drownโ€”flooded pavement can hide washouts and road closures. Submit safely observed conditions to **888-IS-4TIPS (888-474-8477)** or HammerDownHeadlines.com / HammerDownNews.com. Check local conditions before traveling.
