⚠️ **Flash flooding is the biggest driving threat tonight in North Carolina:** Stokes and Surry counties, including Elkin, Dobson, Jonesville and Pilot Mountain, have received 3–4 inches of rain, with another 1–2 inches possible. Flooding may cover highways, streets, underpasses and low-lying routes through **4 AM EDT Sunday.** Never drive through water-covered roads.
⛈️ **Severe thunderstorms with 60 mph wind gusts and hail** are affecting parts of **Kentucky, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee/Virginia, Utah and Wyoming.** Expect sudden visibility drops, ponding water, fallen limbs and possible road blockages.
– **East TN/southwest VA:** I-26 (mile markers 1–20) and I-81 (55–74) near Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol and Gate City are under a warning until **10:30 PM EDT.**
– **Northern Utah:** Near Ogden, North Ogden and Mantua, wind gusts may reach **70 mph** through **8:15 PM MDT.**
– **Alabama:** Jasper, Fayette, Cordova, Carbon Hill and Lynn face 60 mph winds and quarter-size hail through **9:15 PM CDT.**
– **Kentucky:** The Harlan area faces 60 mph winds and penny-size hail through **10:45 PM EDT.**
– **Mississippi:** Severe storms near Cleveland, Ruleville, Drew, Starkville and Oktibbeha County can produce 60 mph winds and quarter-size hail.
🌧️ **South Carolina:** Heavy rain has dropped 2–4 inches near Beaufort, Edisto Beach, Johns Island, James Island and Folly Beach. Another 1–2 inches could cause water over roads and poor-drainage flooding through **11:45 PM EDT.**
🌊 **Illinois River flooding:** Minor flooding continues near Havana and Beardstown, affecting nearby roads and low-lying areas in Cass, Fulton, Mason, Brown, Morgan and Schuyler counties. The Havana warning remains in effect through **Friday evening.**

🌧️💨 **Hawaii:** Tropical Storm Moke’s moisture could bring **5–10 inches of rain, locally 15 inches,** to the Big Island late tonight through Monday afternoon. Flood-prone roads may close quickly. Wind gusts up to **55 mph** are also possible across parts of Maui County and the Big Island through **6 PM HST Sunday**, especially hazardous for high-profile vehicles.
